We want contributors who can explain an idea, develop it into a reviewable result and respond constructively to testing. Mechanical design, computation, software and other interests can shape new projects when there is a defined problem to solve.
Team development should combine practical training with shared review of calculations, models and prototypes. Asking for help early, documenting a method and improving another person’s work are useful contributions alongside specialist knowledge.
